Hiiragi notes that even someone like Natori likes those kinds of things. Meanwhile, Natori seems content, eating chocolate outside a store. Taki replies that she will never try it, believing a rumor that if she eats it, she will never stop. Natsume hears Sasada attempting to persuade Taki to eat a chocolate bar. Natsume arrives at the shop and meets Taki and Sasada, who happen to be walking out. When Natsume asks Tanuma if he has seen Nyanko-sensei, Tanuma denies it, insisting that Ponta (his nickname for Nyanko-sensei) will be back before dinner time. Later, in the forest, Natsume meets with Tanuma. They say Nyan-nyan sensei will be back by dinner, reassuring Natsume that he will not miss Touko’s cooking. He stumbles across Nishimura & Kitamoto by the road. While Nyanko-sensei is separated from Natsume, Natsume goes and searches for him. Their mother is already waiting at the store. Nyanko shows them the way to the local shop. While they fight, the brother remembers the errand list and shows both youkai. Hinoe then redirects them to Chobihige.Ĭhobihige argues with Nyanko about whether he is a mochi cake or not, and that if he is, Chobihige will not eat him, as he considers him a "dirty" mochi cake. They instead point them in the direction of Hinoe. Not long after, they meet with Chukyuu A and B, asking for help, but to no avail. Since Nyanko-sensei does not understand what the children are saying, he desperately searches for familiar faces among the youkais to help. The children say that they are looking for "Mitsumonster", a shop in town. Seeing them as potential food for the other youkai, Nyanko-sensei decides to protect them. Separated, Nyanko-sensei meets two children seemingly lost in the forest. The story begins during a pleasant day and the fat-with-winter-fur (as he claims) Nyanko-sensei, is being walked by Natsume. Nyanko-Sensei wanders off from Natsume during a walk, and with the help of some of his fellow youkai, leads a pair of wandering children to the place they are searching for which they call, "mitsumonster."
